It is always best to check the ingredient list and allergen information on food labels or to consult with a healthcare provider or a registered dietitian if you have questions or concerns about your diet.
Lactose items tested
Lactose is a sugar found in milk and other dairy products. It is broken down by the enzyme lactase in the small intestine. People with lactose intolerance have low levels of lactase, which can cause digestive problems when they consume lactose-containing foods.

It is always best to check the ingredient list and allergen information on food labels or to consult with a healthcare provider or a registered dietitian if you have questions or concerns about your diet.
Histamine rich foods
Histamine is a natural chemical found in our bodies that plays an important role in various physiological processes. However, certain foods are also high in histamine, which can trigger histamine intolerance in some people. Here are 20 items that are high in histamine:
- Fermented dairy products (e.g. yogurt, kefir, cheese)
- Fermented vegetables (e.g. sauerkraut, kimchi)
- Fermented soy products (e.g. tempeh, miso)
- Fermented alcoholic beverages (e.g. wine, champagne, beer)
- Cured and processed meats (e.g. salami, ham, bacon)
- Shellfish (e.g. shrimp, crab, lobster)
- Smoked fish (e.g. salmon, mackerel, herring)
- Dried fruits (e.g. raisins, apricots, dates)
- Citrus fruits (e.g. oranges, lemons, grapefruit)
- Tomatoes and tomato products (e.g. ketchup, tomato sauce)
- Spinach and other leafy greens

- Soy sauce and other fermented condiments
- Vinegar and pickled foods
- Canned and processed foods
- Artificial food additives (e.g. preservatives, colourings)
- Leftover foods that have been stored for too long
It is important to note that not everyone is sensitive to histamine-rich foods, and the severity of symptoms may vary depending on the individual.

Non Food Items Tested
Intolerances to non-foods can cause a range of uncomfortable and sometimes serious symptoms. These intolerance’s can be triggered by a variety of substances that are not typically classified as foods, including medications, chemicals, and environmental allergens. Symptoms can vary widely and may include skin rashes, respiratory issues, digestive problems, and more. It is important to identify and avoid triggers for non-food intolerance’s to minimize the risk of serious health complications. In this section, we will explore some of the most common intolerance’s to non-foods and provide strategies for managing them.
Non-food items
In this section, we will focus on intolerances to non-food items. Intolerances occur when the body has difficulty digesting or processing a substance, which can lead to unpleasant symptoms. Here are some of the most common non-food items that can cause intolerances:
- Latex
- Fragrances (found in perfumes, air fresheners, and cleaning products)
- Cleaning products (such as bleach or ammonia)
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Industrial chemicals (such as benzene or formaldehyde)
- Mold and mildew
- Dust mites
- Pet dander
- Smoke (from tobacco or wood-burning fires)
- Synthetic fabrics (such as polyester or nylon)
- Wool
- Heat or cold (extreme temperatures)
- Recreational drugs (such as alcohol or marijuana)
It is important to note that intolerance’s can vary widely from person to person, and the severity of symptoms can also vary.
Metal Sensitivity Test
Metal sensitivities can occur when an individuals immune system reacts to certain metals, resulting in a range of symptoms such as rashes, hives, and itching. These sensitivities can be caused by exposure to metals in everyday items such as jewelry, coins, and household appliances, as well as through environmental exposure.
10 common metal sensitivities:
- Nickel
- Chromium
- Cobalt
- Mercury
- Gold
- Platinum
- Palladium
- Copper
- Zinc
- Aluminum
It is important to note that while some people may have a true metal allergy, others may simply experience an irritation or contact dermatitis.
Vitamin & Mineral Imbalance Test
Vitamin and mineral imbalances can occur when an individuals body does not have the necessary amounts of specific nutrients required for optimal functioning. These imbalances can result in a range of symptoms and health issues, from fatigue and weakness to brittle bones and anemia. Testing for vitamin and mineral imbalances can help individuals identify and address any deficiencies or excesses they may have.
Common vitamin imbalances include:
- Vitamin D deficiency
- Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Vitamin C deficiency
- Vitamin A deficiency
- Vitamin E deficiency
Common mineral imbalances include:
- Iron deficiency
- Magnesium deficiency
- Calcium deficiency
- Potassium deficiency
- Zinc deficiency
It is important to note that while some vitamin and mineral imbalances can be corrected through dietary changes or supplements, others may require medical intervention.
E-Numbers Test
E-numbers are codes given to food additives that have been approved for use in the European Union (EU). These additives can be used for a variety of purposes, including preserving food, enhancing flavor, improving texture, and adding color. While many food additives are safe for consumption, some people may have adverse reactions to certain E-numbers. It is important for consumers to be aware of the specific additives that are present in their food and to understand the potential risks associated with them.
Common E-numbers found in food products include
- E621 (Monosodium glutamate – MSG)
- E330 (Citric acid)
- E202 (Potassium sorbate)
- E211 (Sodium benzoate)
- E160a (Carotene)
- E150a (Caramel)
- E110 (Sunset Yellow FCF)
- E102 (Tartrazine)
- E171 (Titanium dioxide)
- E124 (Ponceau 4R)
- E129 (Allura Red AC)
- E101 (Riboflavin)
- E300 (Ascorbic acid – Vitamin C)
- E415 (Xanthan gum)
- E407 (Carrageenan)
- E472c (Citric acid ester of Mono- and Diglycerides)
- E330 (Citric acid)
- E260 (Acetic acid)
- E450 (Diphosphates)
- E631 (Disodium inosinate)
It is important to note that some individuals may have adverse reactions to certain E-numbers, such as allergic reactions or intolerance symptoms.
Leaky gut and Digestive Health
Our intolerance test includes an analysis of your digestive health, which can help identify potential issues such as a leaky gut. A leaky gut occurs when the lining of the intestine becomes more permeable, allowing substances to leak into the bloodstream that would normally be prevented from doing so. This can lead to inflammation, digestive problems, and a range of other health issues.
By analyzing your test results, we can identify foods and substances that may be contributing to your symptoms and causing damage to your gut lining. This information can help you make dietary changes to support your digestive health and potentially reduce the risk of developing a leaky gut.
Gut biome Test
In recent years, there has been growing interest in the role of gut microbiota in human health. The gut microbiota is made up of trillions of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses, that reside in the gastrointestinal tract. Research has shown that the composition of the gut microbiota can have a significant impact on many aspects of human health, including digestion, immune function, and even mental health.
This section will focus on some of the most important bacterial species found in the gut microbiota. These bacteria play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy gut microbiota and promoting overall health. Some of the bacterial species that will be listed include;
- Bifidobacterium longum
- Lactobacillus acidophilus
- Escherichia coli
- Bacteroides fragilis
- Akkermansia muciniphila
- Faecalibacterium prausnitzii
- Ruminococcus bromii
- Streptococcus thermophilus
- Lactobacillus reuteri
- Bifidobacterium bifidum
- Lactobacillus plantarum
- Clostridium butyricum
- Eubacterium rectale
- Roseburia intestinalis
- Veillonella parvula
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus
- Clostridium difficile
- Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron
- Enterococcus faecalis
- Klebsiella pneumoniae
Understanding the role of these bacterial species in gut health can help individuals make informed decisions about their diet and lifestyle to promote overall health and well being.
